I thought the MMVAs are shown in the State on FuseTV… :/

I’ll be damned. I read that they don’t show in the US, but that source was wrong. Pardon my American ignorance of trusting the first source I find, editing now ♥

2. Speaking of not having the Much channel and using FuseTV instead, Marianas Trench has a kind of small fanbase in the US compared to their Canadian audience. But all the US Trenchers agree: we want more Trench shows. Want more Trench shows? Give them a higher demand. Want a higher demand? Make them popular in the US. Want to make them popular in the US? Have their wonderful music broadcast on a news program that like an ass-ton of middle and high schoolers are forced to watch daily! 
3.  It’s really close right now! It’s been hovering at about 51/49 all day! If we just push it up to 60/40 we’ll be virtually invincible.
4. This is not a week-long voting period like last time. We only have until Wednesday!!!
5. The band. All of them. Not just for the shallow “Omg 4 cuh-nay-dee-uhn doods i wuld boneeeee ♥” reasons [granted, though, we can all agree that if this was a beauty contest we would have won already]. Vote because this is (probably) a band that has changed your life for the better. It might be Josh being candid about his bulimia/self-harm/drug problem and telling you that you’re not alone, Matt’s eternal awkwardness showing you that being suave in social situations doesn’t have to determine how awesome you are, Ian proving that drummers don’t have to be the least hilarious member of the band, or Mike giving a solid case for the concept that you’re never too old to have weird hair, but you gotta admit they’ve done something. And whether they saved you from suicide or just kept you from crying too much when you had a shitty day, that’s worth at least one vote. 

Then, give them another for their priceless personalities, another for their music videos, another for Bennie, another for your obsession with pomegranate products that no one understands, another in memory of the blue streak, another for pineapple, another for huge balls, another for each of the fantastic albums, another for the next album…. you get the point. 

So yeah, vote here.
